Say hello to Kara!

Kara is a Tiling apprentice who has successfully completed her AHC30916 Certificate III in Landscape Construction with Foundation Training Australia.

Kara started her course with aspirations to make it into the Construction industry (go, girl!). Her goal was simple, to gain practical experience in core skills that are used – and expected – in the construction industry. For her, vocational education was the best way to achieve this goal.

“I wanted exposure to the construction industry to gain more practical skills. Through [FTA’s] program I gained self-confidence in the workplace, improved my construction knowledge and landscaping skills, and gained employment through a tiling apprenticeship.”

By the completion of her course, Kara’s confidence in her skills had grown significantly. With the support of her cohort and our trainers, she accomplished what she’d set out to do, and more; successfully gaining employment through a Tiling Apprenticeship with a north-side landscape company.

We couldn’t be happier for you Kara! More great things are on the horizon, no doubt.
