Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements (BAC) To assist with the recovery from the impact of COVID-19, the Australian Government is providing support to all employers who engage a new Australian Apprentice.
Get up to 50% of an apprentice wage paid for.

Launch into Work Program Program aimed at employers willing to use a pre-employment project as a way of recruiting for positions that offer a career pathway for job seekers. Projects to include: work experience (max 50hrs/fortnight); Mentoring; Accredited and non-accredited training; Employment commitment. www.jobs.gov.au/launch-work-program  
National Work Experience Program (NWEP) NWEP is a work experience program which places job seekers in a real-life unpaid work experience placement with business under hosting arrangements of up to 25 hours a week over a maximum 4 week period.  Work experience can help jobseekers to gain experience and confidence while demonstrating skills to potential employers. Eligible businesses may receive an incentive payment of $300 for hosting a NWEP candidate and it participants are offered ongoing employment after the placement businesses may also be eligible for a wage subsidy. www.jobs.gov.au/national-work-experience-programme  
PaTH Program – Prepare, Trial, Hire funded Internships Non-employer-paid Internship/work experience program – 4-12 weeks – for eligible jobseekers 17-24yrs (unemployed min 6mths and have a mutual obligation with Centrelink). Interns receive additional $200 per fortnight on top of regular income support payments. Employed eligible for $1000 to cover trialling costs. Transition to Work Federal Government intensive support pre-employment program for 15-21yr olds. Intensive pre-employment support to improve work readiness and help cohorts into work (including A&Ts) or education. Wage subsidies of up to $6,500 to employ a young person. www.employment.gov.au/transition-work  
VET Student Loans Income contingent loans from the Australian Government designed to provide financial support to students to undertake high quality training for skills aligned to workplace needs. www.education.gov.au/vet-student-loans
