Tradie

A tradesman or tradeswomen specialises in specific practical skills. In Australia, our biggest trades include plumbing, carpentry, electrical and landscaping. You can never get bored going to different jobs a day, travelling to different areas and experiencing different predicaments that people have gotten themselves into. Trades will always be popular – people will always need houses built and drains unclogged. To become a Tradie, you do not need a secondary school certificate however, you do need to undertake formal training. Many opt to learn while they earn with an apprenticeship! A zookeeper is a perfect career to keep you from the depths of boredom if you have a love for animals.
